The Society for the Advancement of International Languages (SAIL BC) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to strengthening national action in response to British Columbia’s accelerating diversity.

SAIL objectives:

•  To raise awareness of the value and benefits of language learning for all British Columbians.

•  To promote the development of programs in international/heritage languages and other related areas for the creation of positive educational outcomes for learners.

•  To strengthen communication and cooperation among providers and supporters of international/heritage languages organizations across Canada and internationally.

The Society for the Advancement of International Languages supports the view that international language education increases the level of respect and appreciation for multiculturalism and the diversity of British Columbians.
